Thornton Engineering designs and fabricates steel products to the highest quality. Each item we produce is individually tagged and tracked, providing unrivalled traceability.

Every item that leaves our facility needs to pass a four-stage quality inspection process, including assembly, welding, painting and final dispatch. Before any assembly moves to the next stage of production, it must be individually checked and scanned. This allows us to provide regular reports to clients on progress and ensure each item meets our clients’ exact specifications.

In addition to our tracking system, we also provide clients with access to an extensive range of documentation, including, but not limited to,  ITP’s, WPS & PQR’s, material certification, stamped heat numbers, dimensional reports, NDT reports, weld maps, paint reports, as-built drawings, and finally, an MDR, which lists all documentation for the project.
